I guess all of you reading this know about my house almost being broken into. It's so frustrating! And now, I can't get any locks to work in my door... everytime I lock the door, I'm either locking myself in, or locking myself out for quite an extended period of time because the locks keep getting stuck... Aargh. Overall, I'm just really glad Skoobi is ok. Oh, and um, well, it's not a hoof on my balcony.. it's an ear. But I took a picture, and you'll also swear it looks like a hoof. Ok, a hairy hoof, but still. Yeah, I obviously didn't grow up on a farm... cow ear, horse hoof - sadly, all the same to me...
It is also sad that the ear is still on my balcony. I don't know what to do with it. I was hoping the police would be coming back to get it, but they havent' shown up yet. I don't think it's really going to be helpful as evidence... I guess they can go look around for a one-eared cow. Sigh...
The final count down is here... it's my last Saturday in Zenica. This time next week I'll be in Sarajevo. Tomorrow is my last Sunday service with the fellowship here... I'm really sad about that. I'm going to miss everyone here very much. I have something every day this coming week, so I'm expecting the time will go quickly. Do pray I remember to say good-bye to everyone I need to see, and remember to do all the errands I need to do. I have them all written down, I think...
It is so weird to think I won't be here in a week. This is the longest amount of time I've stayed out of the States. It's just weird thinking of being there.
I will try to update at least twice a week from now on... sorry it's taken me so long to post...

i'm just so excited that you're about the be in the states...i mean i know you probably aren't, but you'll be so much closer. it'll make my life easier.
anyway...i'm glad skoobi's ok. hope your lock and all that stuff gets taken care of.
your lock was kinda tempramental to begin with...
and i need to see a picture of the hoof/ear. remember when you and jeff were arguing about that one picture on my camera? you even bet him a knopper that it was a cat. well, sorry to let you know, but it is actually a hole in the asphalt in the bridge i took to Nela's everytime. why? i don't know, but it sure isn't a cat!

you mean I own him another freaking knopper?? Why did you take a pictur eof a hole in the first place?? Yeah, the ild lock was tempermental, but at least it worked... I have a picture of the ear - i'll bring it. I'll email about seeing you - yes, we certainly need to work something out!!
I'm glad that both you and Skoobi are ok. That really stinks that someone tried to break into your house. Hope this week goes well and that you get everything done that you need to. Tiffany
