Ok, so I'm not really "living" here... but I made it safe and sound! I had the best trip overseas ever, I think... I had an empty seat next to me the whole flight over, I slept like I have never slept on a plane before, I had very smooth and not too long lay-overs, and all my baggage made it - woohoo! It was crazy in Washington - because it wasn't crazy.... I went through immigration, claimed my baggage, and went through customs in less than 20 minutes... I could not believe it... Then when I got to Orlando, I heard a lot of hollering when I started to walk down the hall towards baggage claim - along with my parents and sister, there were about 20 people from my church waiting to greet me with signs and lots of hugs! And then when my baggage came, we all celebrated by toasting with diet 7-Up (oh yum!) and home-made cookies! It was very fun - I'm sure everyone else arriving last evening was very envious of my wonderful friends and family - either that or they thought we were all kind of strange :)
It was funny... it was snowing and cold when I left Sarajevo... when I walked out of the airport last night, I thought i was going to die!! I always forget what real humidity feels like!! I started ripping off layers as fast as I could! Oh my goodness!!! I was begging my dad to turn the air on in he car before he even put the suitcases in! This morning at 6:00 it was 72F (22C for those of you in Europe). And Donata wondered why I packed shorts and flip-flops :)
Well, Just thought I would thank you for your prayers... I did have a great trip, and I look forward to seeing many of you soon!
Oh! I'm typing this on my new computer - It is so beautiful!! I love my Mac!!!

Macs are the best! We love ours too. We love you too. We're all perfect for each other.
Glad you are in Florida safe and sound. We look forward to seeing you soon.

So glad that your trip went well and that you survived (and even enjoyed) your Dulles experience! It's gotten even colder here since you left so I can comprehend the humidity that you're in!

I'm torn between being really happy and jealous because I've never had an international flight that remotely went well or a connection that actually connected. I think I'll just err on the side of caution and be really happy for you!!!!
And I'm cool with your Mac usage--I had one for years and loved it. (Do you remember, it even had a little name plate?) I look forwad to seeing it soon. :-)

Good to hear you made it safely to the USA. We are headed up to KY for Thanksgiving, but will be back Sunday. Would love to see you. Are you going to be in the Tampa/Clearwater area? If not, will you be in Ft Pierce for Christmas. Would love for you to meet my husband James and our beloved long hair chihuahua - Jackson!
Love, Tiffini Gothard
