I forgot to post after Bible study last week. I really want to be better about this blogging thing. Last week we studied Eve. It was a pretty good study. Merlina, Laura, and Nedzada were there. Last night Donata, Laura, and I looked at the life of Sarah, and her not so good ways of waiting on the Lord. I think the girls are enjoying the studies. If I could get them all in a room at one time, that would seemingly be a miracle :) For me personally, I'm just enjoying to get to know the women of the Bible better. Pray for me as I prepare a study on Hagar for next week. Pray as the girls read the Scripture this week, and pray they all show up!
I haven't seen Nela in weeks. It's frustrating, but we are having lunch together on Saturday. I'm really looking for some time with her. Apparently she is now working two jobs, the second being at a butcher shop... ewww. So, I am hoping that we will be able to spend some quality time together.
Last July I bought a very nice lounge chair. I didn't get to use it much because I either wasn't here, it was cold for the summer, or it was storming. Thankfully, the weather has been pretty nice lately, and I've been able to sit on my balcony and read, or have my quiet times, or take naps. It's been wonderful. I really like to take naps on my balcony. It's just a small one right off my bedroom, and 2 pine trees are really close to it, so it's like I'm in the tree tops, away from everything. i have a beautiful view of a bunch of mountains. It's become a very special place for me, and I'm just grateful for that little piece of concrete jutting out from my house that seems to bring me such peace and joy. Weird, but oh well.
My printer is prinitng everything in shades of purple... no, I'm not out of ink, I just bought a new cartridge... yes, I know how to put in the new cartridge... it's just printing everything in shapes of... purple... sigh. At least if it were shades of green, it would match my room.
I think about my blog a lot and always think I have lots of exciting thiongs to post about... but then I forget, and I don' tblog enough, and I forget... I went to town today with my friend Paula. I found a cool purse and skirt I may try to save up money for and buy. It was fun to spend some time with her as this is the first time I've seen her since I've been back.
Actually I may try to blog again in the next few days... When I do, it is going to be on the topic of forgiveness. I havent' been struggling with forgiveness per se, but I'm really struggling to figure out what it looks like... not what it necessarily feels like, but what it looks like. I'll save more for later, but I hope when I do blog about it, you'll join in the discussion...

it's cool that things are going so well with the bible study. i know hard it is to get everyone to show up. ok, yeah, i'm way too tired to be writing right now. you would not believe the random words that are coming out. that's what happens whe you don't sleep...
anyway, i remember the lounge chair. i'm very happy that's working out for you, especially since i'll get to take advantage of it in a couple of weeks =D
How can you remember the lounge chair?? I bought it after we left the airport from dropping you off!! And, um, no... you don't get to use the lounge chair... sorry... unless you want to barter... like cooking for me once a week or something... otherwise i have 5 nice plastic chairs you can use. ;)
Oh thank God. I'd lost the addy for your blog and just found it again. Now I can annoy you from a distance even more effectively. :-) I had a lounge chair once but that's a little problematic in Florida because the only time of year that you want to use it is also the time of year you'd rather be sitting in the AC. I scorched all these little vinyl lines on my legs from falling asleep in the sun. Very attractive! (You would expect nothing less.)
i don't REMEMBER it, but i remember it. you whined all summer until you FINALLY got one! thank goodness for that... and don't talk to me about bartering and cooking and crap. we both know that i'm going to be stuck with the dishes all the time... i love you though =P
