Half a hurdle down...

Just got back a little while ago from going to the vet with the pooch - she's so cute...

She has half of her vaccinations done, and I'll go back in 2 weeks to get the rest of them, get the little computer chip implanted in her, and get her travel documents to cross the border. Apparently now you need a little doggie-passport (picture and all) which my vet, whom I think is great and will dearly miss, will have all ready when I head back in two weeks.

The vet is always an adventure. Skoobi is great... she loves the vet, and sits while she gets her shots and examinations. No whining or crying, nipping or biting. However, the dog gives me a work-out as she is so excited to be around so many dog and cat smells, all she does is pull and sniff, pull and sniff, try to jump off the table to go sniff... oh, I really need to chase that cat and that cat and that cat and that cat... and that cat... sniff sniff sniff. My arms are killing me from holding her back.

Thank you so much Slađan for making the appointment, coming with us and helping me to hold the leash!

Thanks for your prayers as I try and get all this stuff done... please do keep praying!

Now I'm off to watch Najslabija Karika (which I taped while we were at the vet), eat dinner, and yet again, catch up on email :)

i'm glad they're half done. i take it you don't have to get a chip put into her head yet to travel to croatia? just wait until it's really in the EU...

Aww, our dogs have doggie-passports, too. And Erik has a chip, because we bring him down to Montanegro and all. Fun fun, doggie fun.
