Oh so random... and many thanks

I am so thankful for Slađan (pictured above). He's holding Skoobi's new passport - victory! I love the look Skoobi is giving - "Is he giving me a shot? What's he doing?" I'm surprised Skoobi still loves Slađan so much as he's come to the vet with us three times now. I'm surprsied Slađan still comes to the vet with us after Skoobi threw up on the backseat... Fun times, fun times... I am so thankful for Skoobi finally having her shots - thank you for all your help, Slađan, and for putting up with us!!

It poured rain most of the day, and of course, I had to go out and do errands today. But if you read the email I sent out earlier, you know it was a good day and I got everything accomplished. This was funny... I went to the photo place to get my pictures done for my visa in Croatia. Well, here, you don't smile for official pictures. Every time the guy aimed the camera at me, I busted out laughing. And the more he told me not to smile, the more I laughed. It was horrible and yet so funny. I think he was quite entertained by me - twice. When I went back to pic up the pictures, we had to do it again because instead of printing out the first ones, he accidently deleted them! It was even harder to hold a straight face the second time. but somehow, I managed to be solemn long enough for a shutter click :)

So on the way home I stopped at the store and there were two new flavors of mineral water - pear with cactus fig, and blood orange with coriander.... The pear/cactus combo tastes like liquid bubblegum. Weird. The blood orange/coriander combo tastes like sweetened liquid black pepper. More weird. Don't know if I'll be buying those again, but I'm glad I tried them.

Not too much else blog worthy... All done packing my stuff for the move. Just hanging out with people and trying to calm Skoobi's fears of seeing all the boxes and suitcases :) Thanks for your prayers and encouragement...
