Why am I so happy??

Because I finally have high-speed internet! Woohoo! Go me go! It is a beautiful, wonderful thing. Look at these pages load... fascinating...!

There's been other good things happening too... Skoobi has made some canine friends, which I am so happy about. She still gets a little snippy when her new friends try to come meet me, but she's very protective and I guess that's... good. :) Her "best" friend is a boxer mix named Ben. He's so good to her. He just stands there and looks at me with those big eyes that say "Why is she such a spasmadic freakazoid?" And I just look back and shrug my shoulders. She's also friends with "big ears" who is a small dog with the biggest ears I have ever seen. They stick straight up and look like big radar dishes. Then there is "the hound" which is a pure bred blood hound. She hates him, actually... Then there's "damnation" the Dalmation who she hasn't made up her mind about yet. "Blue ball" is a distant friend she barks at every morning in a cheery hello kind of way... Oh yeah, and Chico the pug whom she also doesn't like.

Ok, why I felt the need to write all that nonsense, I don't know. I'm just so happy to be on-line... happy... happy... :)

The computer guy actually came in the middle of my day and kind of messed up my schedule some, but who cares? Not me. I have my lesson plans done for tonight and I'm looking forward to class. I'm reading a book one of my students published. He's about to publish his second book, a science fiction novel called "Project Cortex." I'm looking forward to reading that one too. It helps my language to read, and I think it's cool that I have a signed copy of the book.

Goodness, this is the lamest of blogs... but hey, feel free to email me lots and lots of stuff to download... I'm so happy! :)
