Ok, I need to vent before bed...

If you've read the my monthly prayer email I just sent out, you know I've had a pretty darn good day... however... something just happened that about put me through the roof. A dog just attacked my Skoobi!

That stupid dalmation - her name is Kora - doesn't like Skoobi, and her owner never has her on a leash. We were just finishing up our walk when I saw Kora in the distance. I pulled Skoobi over on the other side of the sidewalk (it's a huge sidewalk) and tried to walk fast hoping stupid Kora wouldn't see her. Well, she did, and as soon as she did, she started to run towards Skoobi with teeth bared. Then, anticipating the attack, Skoobi started to go for her. I'm trying to hold Skoobi back while Kora's owner is yelling at her to get off Skoobi. Skoobi is trying to protect herself and me, and I'm thinking "I am going to kill this freaking dog." The lady finally gets Kora off Skoobi, and pushes her away, and then Kora comes back! And then I'm seriously thinking I'm going to kill that dog, but they only fought for a couple more seconds, and then Kora went away. The lady asked - is your dog ok, did she bite her? I look at her like she's crzy - yes, your dog bit my dog! Are you blind? I was so mad...

So we started walking back to the apartment, and I am soooooo mad. I made Skoobi sit to calm her down a little and I pet her neck. When I looked at my hand, there was blood. So then I started looking around for a stick to go beat the snot out of Kora. but I pet her some more, and didn't see any more blood... I think Skoobi bit Kora back, and it was Kora's blood. When I got back into the apartment, I checked her all over, and I couldn't find any marks or anything. I get so angry when people don't have their dogs on a leash.

And Kora better pray to the doggie god that we never cross paths again...
