Catching up, and some good news!

I'm behind in blogging. Lots of stuff to catch up on. First... the winner of my "name the newsletter" contest is... Paula! It was so stinking close between her (LeAnne's Latest) and Joce's (Hrvatski Highlights) that I decided Joce gets a prize for runner up. I still don't know what your prizes would be, but you'll get them as soon as I can get them down there for you - thanks for playing! ;)

The even bigger and better news of the day - I have my new visa! I went to the police station today to register Jana Brink, and when I walked in the lady said - "Oh, hi, I have your visa, do you have your passport?" Rock on! Thanks so much for praying.

Speaking of Jana Brink, here she is with her favorite dog ever:



Thankfully she hasn't killed any chickens yet... Do be praying as she starts visiting the gypsy villages tomorrow and getting the information she needs for her project. I'm really glad she's here, and we've had fun catching up today. I'm looking forward to see how this architecture thesis project will impact the gypsy communities in the future. It's going to bless many people.

Below is a picture of poor Skoobi. The cat is in our backyard, just sitting and taunting poor Skoobi. I can't let Skoobi in the backyard because she can escape. Apparently the neighborhood cats have figured that out - there were 4 of them sleeping back there the other morning!


Things have definitely picked up speed , and I'm really enjoying living here and becoming more involved in ministry. I am just thrilled to have gotten the visa today. Such a burden has been lifted. Saturday is our women's tea - please be lifting that in prayer and I'll post some pictures of it on Monday. Until then, be blessed!
