and of course police stations are known for how much money they have on site...
I think they must've been looking for some sort of attention or trying to escape from something... that can be the only excuse... :(

maybe they were mad at somebody on the police force and thought that this was a good way to get revenge... not that any of this makes sense...but there's some motivation for you...
