The pain of forgetfulness

Greetings from Chicago. Oh my GOSH it's cold here... 48 hours ago I was eating outside on the Panera Bread patio in shorts and flip-flops... now i feel like I'm on an artic tudra or something. The pain is even greater as I left my winter coat in Bosnia!! In my great desire to get to Florida, I was quick to pack my shorts, tank-tops and sandals, forgetting my coats for my travels to Chicago, South Dakota, and New England.

Anyways, it's gret to be back up here at International Teams and to be able to debrief some and catch up with people. I love being here and being cared for, knowing that the love and care are true and deep. I couldn't imagine working with another mission.

As a prayer point, I am still suffering from jet-lag. I've been back about 10 days now, and still feel like I've stepped off he plane. I've never had it this badly before. Flying to another time zone yesterday didn't help my matters much either. But I finally got a good night's sleep last night, I just woke up way to early. I'm hoping for some much needed rest the next few days, so please be praying for that.

I guess this is kind of a boring post. I'm sure exciting things have happened, I'm just drawing a blank right now. I hope all of you are doing well!!
