I have to tell you this - I think it's hysterical... I was in a store the other day and they had a bunch of mini-books. One was called "The Bad Day Book." I was thumbing through the pages skimming when I happened upon this little jewel... " You know you're having a bad day when... you book a trip to the Balkans because it's sure to be more relaxing than staying home!" I thought I was going to die laughing. It was great and really made me miss Bosnia - unrelaxing as it is :)
Today was phone call day. I've really been mising everyone in Zenica, so I decided to make some phone calls. I got a hold of Nela first. She and Andrej are doing well except that she is getting over a cold. It was great to hear her voice and just catch up with her a bit. I talked to my neighbor, Jasna, who reassured me over and over and OVER again that everything was fine and I had nothing to worry about. Donata was just finishing up a langauge class. She said everything was fine and that Skoobi was getting fat because she wouldn't eat her dog food, but only the food Donata herself was eating...
So, now you know what I know :) It was really great to talk to everyone. Everyone I talked to said to greet everyone here, so you are officially greeted from Nela, Donata, Jasna, and Nino.
I am back in Ft Pierce until early january. My brother John and nephew Chandler arrived from Portland, OR yesterday, so it's very fun to be able to be with them the next week they are here. But right now everyone is gone and I have the house to myself. Sometimes being alone is a good thing...
