I hate that it's been so long since I've posted. I'm sorry. The last two weeks have been, well, I don't even know how to describe them, nor can I really even tak about it too much yet. Suffice it to say I've had a lot of meetings and phone calls and life's a bit crazy - not to mention I'm supposed to be on a plane to Bosnia two weeks from right now. (Ok, it's plane to DC, Vienna, and THEN Bosnia, but you know what I mean).
I have had a lot of fun the past couple of weeks as well. I went back to Ohio and visted Roy and Ruth Lowrie again, and spent some time with Jana at Cedarville as well. Then Jana and I flew to Florida for what was supposed to be a week of rest and fun. Well, it certainnly was fun, but I didn't get too much rest. Neither did she, but why would you want to sleep in 80 degree weather with plenty of sunshine to boot?? We looked at old pictures of me in college and high school and when I was a teeny baby - wow, I really was a product of the 80's! Thankfully my hair isn't as high and my fashion sense has done a 180! It wasn't much better in the early 90's when I was in college - uugh. It was fun to show Jana around town. We went up to my old college and ate at my favorite restaurant. We went to the beach and I finally got some color - woohoo!! I was excited she was able to come to my church twice and get to meet some of my dearest friends in the world. I think she liked my church. I love my church, so I was thrilled she was able to come.
This past Saturday the women in the church had a fun birthday party for me. It was a blast to do "LeAnne Trivia!" The things I wish people didn't know about me... :) It was also very fun as a few women I hadn't met before came as well, so it was great to get to know them a bit more. I have sooooo much stuff to take back to Bosnia with me!! Everyone has been so gracious in picking things up for me - muffin mixes, ziploc bags, wax paper, ranch dressing, and on and on... it's amazing!
Sunday was my birthday. It was a good day. Jana flew back to Cedarville Monday morning. I got to go to the gate with her since I had a boarding pass as I bought a roundtrip ticket as it was cheaper. It was sad to see her go. Pray for her as she finishes up her last semester at Cedarville.
Pray for me... the last 2 weeks are always the hardest. My parents live 2 hours away from my church and friends. I want to spend time with everyone - and I can't. There are always last minute things to do and get. I have to pack and sort and all that fun stuff. I have a lot of meetings I still have to go to and just a lot to think and pray about. So, pray for me...

well i certainly had fun. you took away much of what i had to write about on MY blog though.
hang in there. i know it's been rough. i love you!!
So let's be honest, what *was* your favorite Stetson restaurant? I was always partial to the, uh, the one that closed. Um, it was kinda of Italian. Oh heck, it had the chicken velvet soup, you know the one! But Bellini's is my sentimental favorite since I could walk there and, having no car, that made it the *only* restaurant I went to.
Praying for those last two weeks. Looking forward to seeing you back in BiH.
